Since the inception of Abirami Driving School in 2005, our mission has been vital yet straightforward to create skilled, confident, and responsible drivers who prioritize safety on the road. Over the years, we have embraced innovation, including the introduction of driving simulators in Trichy, to provide our learners with the most effective and safe training environment.
We believe that driving is not just a skill, but a responsibility. Our focus extends beyond teaching how to operate a vehicle we emphasize road discipline, awareness, and defensive driving, ensuring that every learner is prepared for real-world traffic situations.

Road safety is a shared responsibility that requires respect for traffic rules from every road user. Adhering to speed limits, wearing seatbelts, avoiding distractions, and following signals save countless lives each year. Promoting safe driving habits not only protects individuals but also enhances community well-being.
Founded in 2005, Abirami Driving School has become a leading institution for comprehensive driver training in Thillai Nagar, Trichy. We cultivate safe, skilled, and responsible drivers through structured training programs and innovative teaching methods.
As Trichy’s first driving school to introduce driving simulation technology, we ensure learners gain real-world experience in a safe environment. We offer both manual and automatic vehicle training, guided by experienced instructors.
Our exclusive driving track provides hands-on practice in a secure and controlled setting. Beyond regular lessons, we conduct Driving Safety Courses for schools and colleges to promote traffic awareness and defensive driving. Younger participants can explore driving basics through our fun and safe Go-Kart facility.

Milestones of Abirami Driving School

Since its establishment at 2005, Abirami Driving School has trained over 15,000 individuals, from young learners to adults, equipping them with the skills, confidence, and road safety awareness necessary to become responsible drivers.

In 2008, a remarkable record was set in Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu, when 49 people were accommodated in a single Maruti 800 vehicle, earning recognition in the LIMCA Book of Records, as reported in Mumbai Mirror.

In 2008, Thiru T. Soundiah, I.A.S., congratulated Mrs. Poongudi Subramanian for her remarkable journey of dedication and service to society, during which she achieved a LIMCA Book of Records 38-years, recognizing her outstanding accomplishments as a woman committed to social development from a young age.

Abirami Driving School trains women and transgender individuals from underserved communities, helping them gain independence, livelihood opportunities, and confidence through safe and professional driving skills.

Abirami Driving School provides refresher courses for chief drivers in gas and oil companies, keeping them updated on modern driving practices and safety standards. We also organize road safety awareness programs, including helmet rallies, college road safety rallies, and community campaigns, to promote responsible driving and traffic discipline.

In 2017, Abirami Driving School established the first driving track in Mannachanallur, Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu, providing a controlled environment for learners to practice and master basic driving skills. Our one-to-one car driving sessions ensure personalized training, allowing each student to gain confidence and proficiency behind the wheel.

In 2017, transport commissioner Mr. Satya Prakash visited our driving school to conduct an interview and oversee our training programs for 10 hours step by step training. He congratulated us well-structured training methods, and commitment to promoting road safety and value of human life is essential while driving cars.

Recently, simulation driving has been introduced for learners at Abirami Driving School, providing a safe and realistic virtual environment to practice driving skills. This innovative system allows students to gain confidence, understand traffic rules, and handle real-world driving scenarios before stepping onto the road.

Interviews about our driving school were conducted with Mrs. Poongudi Subramanian on popular television programs, including Mangaiyar Solai on Doordarshan, Thanthi TV, and Vaanamey Ellai on Jaya TV.

Mr. Dark from Saudi Arabia heard about the driving simulation at Abirami Driving School, where Saudi women were restricted from driving cars. This inspired him to manufacture a simulator for Saudi women.
